The 12th Annual Make-Up Artists and Hair Stylists Guild Awards 2025

Frankie Grande returned as the host of "Live From the Red Carpet" for the sixth year in a row!

On Saturday Evening February 2025 the 12th Annual Make-Up Artists & Hair Stylists Guild Awards were held at the Fairmont Century Plaza Hotel, 2025 Avenue of the Stars, Los Angeles, 90067.

This was a wonderful event hosted by Val Chmerkovskiy and Jenna Johnson (Dancing with the Stars) and was presented by L'Oreal Groupe and Giovanni Eco Chic Beauty.

The MUAHS Awards "recognize excellence in the artistry and creativity of make up artist and hairstylist in 23 categories, including motion, pictures, television, music, videos, and theater entertainment according to the guild this year, the theater category expanded to include Broadway and international theater conductions as well.

IATSE President Mathew Loeb, announced that the evening was dedicated to the Walsh/Di Tolls/Spivak Foundation to raise money to help those impacted by the wildfires. He mentioned that 16 members of the local 706 lost their homes in this destructive and calamitous fire

The Vanguard Award was given to the Research Council of Makeup Artists(RCMA Makeup), Hair Stylist Peter Tothpal, known for his work on guardians of the Galaxy, Vol.3 and "Terminator 3, Rise of the Machines" received the Lifetime Achievement Award for Hair Stylists.

Sarah Michelle Gellar presented the Lifetime Achievement Award for Make-Up to Make-up artist Todd McIntosh, known for his work on "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and "Memoirs of a Geisha".
