Santa Monica Police Arrest 3 Career Criminals For Stabbing at 2 am Saturday, In Front of Miramar Sheraton's Bungalow

All Three are Illegal Aliens; Murder Appears to have been Targeted Hit

2.20.25: The Santa Monica Police Department reported the arrest of three individuals linked to the homicide that occurred early Saturday morning.

At around 1:50 AM on February 15, 2025, officers responded to a report of a stabbing in the 100 block of Wilshire Blvd following a verbal dispute. Upon arrival, police found two male victims suffering from stab wounds. First responders from the Santa Monica Police and Fire Departments provided immediate medical assistance, and both victims were transported to a nearby hospital.

One of the victims, 31-year-old Oscar Alfredo Gonzalez, tragically did not survive despite life-saving measures. The second victim was treated for injuries that were deemed non-life-threatening.

Detectives with the Criminal Investigations Division launched an intensive investigation, leading to the arrests of two suspects on Monday, February 17, 2025, and a third on Wednesday, February 19, 2025. The suspects, identified as brothers Alfredo Quintero (42) and Ricardo Quintero Jr. (41) from South Gate, along with 32-year-old Rogelio Arenas from Los Angeles, all have extensive criminal records.
