"Hot chicks get all the breaks. This is irritating to watch. They're bending over backwards for this girl." Complained the Twitteratti
Driving Under the Influence (DUI) is a crime in all 50 states, because it endangers other drivers. But is administration of the law dependent on one's good looks? Sarasota Police just said no to Pretty Privilege.
In police cam video shot 11/17/24 by a Sarasota police officer called Nick, a Hooters Waitress named Sophia gets pulled over for DUI while driving in a jeep. She calls 2 or 3 friends, and one of them comes and retrieves the vehicle, saving her impound and tow truck fees.
Sophia refuses to voluntarily participate in a breathalyzer test, though she freely admits to drinking at Hooters before heading out in her jeep. The pull over takes place around 2 am. "I have to pee really bad," she complains. Otherwise she is flirtations. Then again, so is he.
Officer Nick allows her to call two friends to come collect her vehicle to "avoid some ugly impound fees." But he does arrest the Hooters waitress, who climbs into the back of the squad car and presumably is driven off to spend the night in jail.
"So annoying because you know guys and ugly chicks do not get treated this way," tweeted Mad Max.
"Well apparently this girl was more educated than you on what to do if you're stopped for DUI. Never blow." tweeted Guy Ferman.
"That chick must have been way over the limit too. Easily could have caused a serious accident." Tweeted David.

"This is irritating to watch," tweets Daemonocray. "Years ago I got pulled over after having two beers, blew .082 on the breathalyzer and the cop cuffed me and didn’t let me call anyone. I got stuck with a tow bill. The case was eventually dropped as the breathalyzer was later deemed defective and unreliable, but that tow was expensive. They’re bending over backwards for this girl."
