The Daily Santa Monica Crime and Drug Video - January 7, 2025

Santa Monica's City Council thinks the city is just fine. One councilmember called the homeless residents our neighbors, their wants and desires equivalent to those of people who pay rent and pay taxes. The 'freedom' of some, most of whom suffer from drug addiction and mental illness, to live in filth, disease and to commit crimes with impunity, is valued over the ability of the rest of society to live healthy lives in law and order.

The Santa Monica Coalition is a movement comprised of Santa Monica residents, business owners, and locals that addresses the humanitarian crisis, public safety concerns, the rising crime, and the current lack of responsiveness from the City of Santa Monica.

Lindsey Horvath (LA County's 3rd District Supervisor) is a strong supporter of Barbara Ferrer's and the LA County's glass pipe and needle distribution in Santa Monica's and LA's parks and playgrounds. Under Lindsey Horvath, the program and cost have increased tenfold. For the last 2 years Horvath has been Chair of the LA County Board of Supervisors. Since July 2023 Horvath has also been Chair of LAHSA (The Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority). Horvath failed to produce financial documents to Judge David O. Carter (United States district judge of the United States District Court), and several weeks later, RESIGNED once an investigation on her activities commenced. Her "outrage" about the homeless and transient addicts on our streets is bogus. Horvath is the classic career politician, a "pretender."
