The rumors began when Loomer invited Ocasio-Cortez to her podcast, "Loomer Unleashed," to discuss an alleged "baby bump," urging her specifically "not to abort."
Recent speculation has erupted online regarding whether Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) is expecting a baby. These rumors surfaced on social media following comments about a possible "baby bump" seen in photos, though there has been no official statement from AOC, 35, on the matter.
The chatter reportedly began with right-wing activist Laura Loomer, who took to Twitter to taunt Ocasio-Cortez, saying, "Hey @AOC, the election is over. You can come out and finally admit you're pregnant. Or are you waiting until the 9th month to abort? The election is over, cupcake." Loomer later doubled down on her claims, inviting the congresswoman to appear on her podcast, "Loomer Unleashed," to address the alleged pregnancy.
Adding fuel to the fire, another social media user, Lew Bold, tweeted: "AOC is definitely pregnant. She won't announce it until after the election because it contradicts her pro-choice stance. Imagine hiding your pregnancy while advocating for abortion rights."
Despite these provocative comments, there is no confirmed evidence supporting the pregnancy claims. Ocasio-Cortez, who lives in the Bronx with her partner, Riley Roberts, became engaged in April 2022 during a trip to Puerto Rico. As of now, neither she nor her representatives have commented on these rumors circulating online.
Is Congress' greatest denier that this generation has a future (i.e. Climate Change), actually about to project progeny into hers? Some apparent baby bump photos have social media a twitter.
The rumor apparently began with Conservative firebrand Laura Loomer. "Hey @AOC!" Loomer tweeted. "The election is over. You can come out and finally admit you're pregnant. Or are you waiting till the 9th month to abort? The election is over, cupcake."
It all started when political activist Laura Loomer commented on what she referred to as a "baby bump" and encouraged AOC to address the matter publicly. The rumors began when Loomer invited Ocasio-Cortez to her podcast, "Loomer Unleashed," to discuss an alleged "baby bump," urging her specifically "not to abort."
"AOC is definitely pregnant btw." tweeted Lew Bold. "She won't announce it until after the election, looks bad for the pro-abortion messaging. Imagine hiding your pregnancy to promote that others end theirs."
