Is the US President, Forced out of the campaign, actively trying to sabotage Kamala?
During a Tuesday campaign call from the White House, U.S. President Biden criticized a controversial joke made at a recent Donald Trump rally, calling Trump supporters "garbage." The remark came as Biden condemned comedian Tony Hinchcliffe, host of the "Kill Tony" podcast, for a joke during Trump's rally at Madison Square Garden on Sunday. In his set, Hinchcliffe referred to Puerto Rico as a "floating island of garbage."
"Donald Trump has no character. He doesn't care about the Latino community," Biden said, in remarks first reported by NBC. "Just the other day, a speaker at his rally called Puerto Rico a floating island of garbage."
The president's strong language reflects heightened tensions as both campaigns ramp up rhetoric and focus on their respective bases leading into the election season.
