Hundreds of Pagers and Phones Explode in the Hands of Hezbollah Operatives Across Lebanon Simultaneously Tuesday Morning.

In what appears to be a major Israeli intelligence victory, over 1000 pagers were wired to explode on Mossad command. Israel silent so far on the operation.

Update, 9:45 am PST: The Lebanese health ministry now estimates 2800 injured, 300 seriously in the exploding pager attacks Tuesday. 11 confirmed dead.

9/17/24: In what appears to be a major intelligence coup, reportedly 1200 pagers and other electronic devices in the hands of Hezbollah employees, exploded across Lebanon and Syria Tuesday afternoon. Roughly at 7 am PST, Hezbollah's encrypted pager devices began simultaneously, exploding across Lebanon, including in Damascus.

Initial reports from Lebanon estimate around 1,000+ casualties so far. The hospitals appear to have filled with casualties, all men, in Beirut Lebanon. The Lebanon national communications ministry advised all Lebanese to stay away from all communications devices.

Hezbollah has instructed all its militants to immediately discard their pagers, calling this the most significant security breach they've ever encountered. Iran's Mehr news agency reports that Mojtaba Amani, Iran's ambassador to Lebanon, was injured when a pager exploded.

Beirut's hospitals filled with the wounded.

"The alleged Israeli attack that caused Hezbollah devices to blow up 'demonstrates the extent to which Israeli intelligence has penetrated Hezbollah's organizational structure,' " David Daoud told Benita Levin of English language channel i24News. He also theorized that this attack was an attempt by Israel, to force Hezbollah to launch a full scale war at a time when they are not ready for it.

This is a developing story, and all information is preliminary, with numbers and information subject to change. A very graphic video of the injured in hospitals may be seen at: https://x.com/FunkerActual/status/1836080444992868519/video/1
