Community, Diversity, Sustainability and other Overused Words
Highlighted by Birdies for Breast Cancer at The Links Golf Course, Full Moon Yoga at the Beach Cove and Beach Cove Movie Night
This October, in recognition of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Southern California's oceanfront Terranea Resort, recently named one of the 15 Favorite Resorts in California by Travel + Leisure World's Best Awards, continues its decade-long commitment to raising funds for Cancer Support Community South Bay and Play for P.I.N.K.. Both non-profit organizations provide vital assistance, support and guidance to cancer patients and their families, and will once again be the beneficiaries of the funds raised through Terranea's events.
Terranea Resort encourages guests and supporters to don pink awareness ribbons and participate in three special activities. The lineup includes the 10th Annual Birdies for Breast Cancer at The Links on October 20, Full Moon Yoga at the Beach Cove on October 17, and a Movie Night at the Beach Cove featuring Barbie on October 5.
"Terranea Resort is always honored to support Cancer Support Community South Bay and Play for P.I.N.K. during this important initiative," said Ralph Grippo, president of Terranea Resort. "Continuing to support research, education, screening and medical care for the treatment remains a top priority – especially during the month of October."
