A water main broke in Pasadena City Hall, and was seen flooding a street.
A 4.6 magnitude shocker rolled through Santa Monica around 12:18 pm PST Monday. The first jolt was felt as a sharp up and down motion.
Highland Park is near South Pasadena. The Quake was relatively shallow which is what made the shaking so intense.
The earthquake was felt over a large swatch of Southern California. KABC radio reports that a water main broke in Pasadena City Hall, and was seen flooding a street.
