Israeli Air Force Bombed a senior Hezbollah commander in Beirut, Lebanon

Netanyahu said Israel would retaliate against Hezbollah, which launched the rocket onto the Soccer field, killing 12 kids in the Druze town.

7.30.24, 10 am PST: Israel has retaliated for the killing of 12 Israeli children playing soccer in Northern Israeli town of Majdal Shams. The target is said to have been Fuad Shukr, Hezbollah's second in command and the architect of the attack in Majdal Shams. Israel has not confirmed Fuad Shukr's death, or that he was in fact the target. Hezbollah has said that he was not, in fact, killed in the attack.

Smoke is reportedly pouring from the bomb site, possibly caused by an Israeli Airstrike. The area that was attacked in southern Beirut is called Da'ahia. It is said to include the command center of the terrorist organization.

Reports that the IDF has struck a senior Hezbollah commander in Dahieh, Beirut Tuesday.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had warned repeatedly that Israel would retaliate against Hezbollah, which launched a rocket onto the Soccer field Saturday 7.27.24.

The rocket killed 12 children in the largely Druze community. Hezbollah is the world's largest non-government military force, with 40,000 men and 150,000 rockets supplied by Iran. The Iran backed terror group dominates Southern Lebanon and Southern Beirut, where most of Lebanon's Shia population live.
