Gurus Magazine Hosts Spectacular Pre-Oscars Celebrity Gifting Retreat at The Godfrey Hotel Hollywood

Gurus Magazine and founder Derek Warburton, elegantly hosted its first annual, two day celebrity gifting retreat at the gorgeous 1/0 Hollywood Rooftop at the Godfrey Hotel Hollywood, in the heart of Los Angeles' iconic Hollywood district at 1400 Cahuenga Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90028. This lavish event took place on Friday, March 8- Saturday March 9, 2024 from 10am-5 pm.

Gurus Magazine, published by Derek Warburton, is a Los Angles based wellness and lifestyle online periodical. The magazines philosophy is "truth, passion and authenticity". You could tell this viewpoint was incorporated into the Oscars gifting suite,

The atmosphere was cheerful and positive, and all the brands in attendance had a lot of passion and heart behind their products. Celebrity attendees, media and other industry insiders mingled among one another in an authentic Hollywood setting without any Hollywood arrogance.

There were enticing cocktails flowing, including healthy seltzers from Passion Tree and tasty snacks to munch on from The Blonde Italian and sensational ice cream treat My Mochi.

Amber Walker Events created custom flower arrangements and a talented team from Gurus Magazine were doing hair and makeup while acclaimed celebrity photographer Josh Fogel did amazing photoshoots with celebrities, influencers and guests.

The atmosphere of this gifting suite was very exciting and fun! This energy was represented by many of the "organic" brands in attendance.

Calvin Larson, of Larson Arts helped guests create beautiful gemstone energy bracelets that heal and bring good luck. It was amazing that so many attendees enjoyed the ingenuity of sitting down with a table of colorful gemstone beads and charms and originating a gemstone bracelet from scratch

I designed a beautiful green agate, rose garnet and pink fluorite double wrap gemstone bracelet. I did not need any assistance, because during the pandemic when everyone was binging on Netflix, I taught myself how to design and create Tibetan style gemstone jewelry (www.InspiredbyRachelGanz.com)

Aumaro Gems showcased beautiful, colorful gemstone jewelry as well.

Actresses and sisters, Joely Fisher and Tricia Leigh Fisher sampled their luscious beauty products, from the eponomyous line, Fisher Stevens, initially created by their mother, Connie Stevens, and now in their more than capable hands

Dr. Michael Newman, a Beverly Hills plastic surgeon was on hand to talk about ways to age gracefully and was even doing Jueveau. injections to help with the disturbing little 11 lines we get between our brows . Dr Michael Newman was gracious enough to help alleviate a few lines on my face with his wonderful Jueveau injections
