On February 29, Ruinart kicked off Frieze LA with an intimate VIP dinner at 1 Pico at Shutters on the Beach, Santa Monica's iconic oceanside resort, to celebrate this year's Ruinart Carte Blanche Program, Conversations with Nature, featuring LA-based artist Andrea Bowers. Known for her activism through art, Bowers paid homage to Ruinart's commitments to sustainability with two captivating installations that ignited dialogue and forged connections with the environment.

Ruinart appointed award-winning Chef Rob Rubba (2023 James Beard Foundation's Outstanding Chef of the Year, F & W Best New Chef 2022, Esquire Best New Restaurant 2021) from MICHELIN-starred Oyster Oyster (D.C.) to design an experiential menu with a focus on environmentalism and conscious gastronomy.

Drawing inspiration from this event and in collaboration with Chef Rob, 1 Pico's culinary team has co-created a limited-edition dish available to both guests and visitors of Shutters on the Beach throughout March as part of a limited-edition three-course meal, including expertly curated Ruinart pairings.
