Rapper Killer Mike Arrested at Grammy's After Winning Three Awards and Hitting a Member of the Crowd

Rapper Killer Mike was arrested at the Grammy's in Los Angeles after winning three awards. "He hit someone in the crowd and it was recorded. So they called the police, showed the video, let him receive the awards and arrested," tweeted Sri Harsha, who was there.

Just before getting taken out of the Crypto.com Arena (formerly the Staples Center) in handcuffs, Killer Mike won Best Rap Album, Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song.

Killer Mike was heard saying: "Are you serious?" to officers as they escorted him out of the building.

The Conspiracy theory is that he refused to endorse Joe Biden 3 days ago, so the LAPD arrested him. "Rapper Killer Mike two days ago on Bill Maher refused to endorse Joe Biden. Tonight he got arrested after winning three Grammys. There are no coincidences,” tweeted JD Sharp.

Michael Santiago Render (born April 20, 1975), better known by his stage name Killer Mike, is an American rapper and activist. He made his recording debut on Outkast's fourth album Stankonia (2000), and later appeared on their Grammy Award-winning single "The Whole World" from their greatest hits album Big Boi and Dre Present... Outkast (2001).

He signed with Big Boi's Purple Ribbon Records (known then as Aquemini Records) and Columbia Records to release his debut studio album Monster (2003), which received critical acclaim and peaked at number ten on the Billboard 200.

He followed up with the independent albums I Pledge Allegiance to the Grind (2006) and I Pledge Allegiance to the Grind II (2008); he briefly signed with T.I.'s Grand Hustle and later Williams Street Records to respectively release his fourth and fifth albums, Pledge (2011) and R.A.P. Music (2012). His sixth album, Michael (2023) was met with continued acclaim, receiving three awards at 66th Annual Grammy Awards, including Best Rap Album.
