GBK honors Hollywood's finest at the 2024 Critics Choice Awards

15th January, Los Angeles--The Award season this year started with a bang with the veteran Luxury Lifestyle Gifting and special events company GBK honoring the 2024 Critics Choice Award Nominees. GBK hosted the 2024 POOPH's Critics Choice Luxury Lounge presented by LA Smile's Dentistry and GBK Brand Bar. Held on the 12th and 13th January at gorgeous Four Seasons Hotel nestled in Beverly Hills, appropriately so, this year the guests were treated to a lavish array of gifts and services.

This year, the GBK suite collaborate with POOPH and LA Smile Dentistry to host this fabulous event. Attendees included Oscar winners Angela Bassett & Mira Sorvino as well as Emmy & Critics' Choice nominees Brian Cox (Succession), Chris MacDonald, Karen Pittman from (Morning Show), Scott Evans (Barbie), Liza Colon Zayas (The Bear), Akbar Gbajabiamila, Bridget Everett, Carl Anthony Payne, (Jury Duty), Cast members from Ted Lasso, William Stanford Davis and Chris Perfetti (Abbott Elementary), Josh Whitehouse and Ayesha Harris from (Daisy Jones & The Six), and Hector Elizondo & Jason Grey-Stanford (Monk's Last Case).

They say there is nothing quite the 'Hollywood smile'! This year's event was sponsored by premium Beverly hills-based dentistry LA Smile Dentistry. The 'Smile Specialists' LA SMILE were present, a cutting-edge dental clinic in the heart of Beverly hills to gift guests with a $1500 Smile makeover with Dr. Shawn Davaie of LA Smile Specialists.

Another headline sponsor, POOPH, is the #1 best-selling pet odor eliminator on the market that is safe, non-toxic, fragrance-free and works instantly. POOPH donated a year supply in the name of each celebrity to the pet shelter of choice. 

Guests enjoyed Beauty products from top international brands which included Michael Todd Beauty who were present with their award-winning organically based skin care products and at-home beauty devices that 'bring the spa home' by Spa Sciences. Shikohin, an exclusive Skincare brand from Japan gifted guest products from their longevity skincare line for men.

Very bespoke gifts included Emeril Everyday products by Emeril Lagasse, items from the fun doggy lifestyle brand- Glow Pups, Luxury Evercool Cooling Comforters from Rest Duvet, Gift card from Price.com gift cards, vegan candles and body butter by Milena Los Angeles and travel handbags from globally recognized travel essentials company called Lo & Sons. Premiere publishing company, Action Takers Publishing, provided ghostwriting and publishing services giving top talent the opportunity to the write their own book and become a number one best seller. 

For a fashion statement, you can't go past bespoke apparel brand "Rear Ended" which gifted their luxury athleisure wear line called "Frame the Booty". High end wellness and detox brand ROOTS were present and showcased fantastic products that support the body's natural detoxification. For the babies in the house, Australian wellness company Care A2+ presented their signature product- baby formula to nourish children naturally with proven results and allowed guests to make a generous donation of product to a woman in need.

Award season gift events are rarely complete without an exotic vacation resort getaway for the guests. This year was no different and the GBK event saw exotic Resort stays on offer. The fabulous Casa de Campo Resort and villas in Newport California, gifted a complimentary 2-night luxury stay in their suites for 2 people. Guests were excited to receive a complimentary 5-night villa stay at the Sailrock Resort, a premier luxury 5-star resort in Turks and Caicos.

Libations were served courtesy of Fog Crest Wines, the only Black owned winery in Sonoma. Guests also enjoyed a $1000 VIP gift card from the famous Ike's Love & Sandwiches. Everyone enjoyed El Christiano's delicious and additive-free Tequila and got to take home an exclusive blend of their world-famous Tequila.

Guests enjoyed a lavish spread provided by The Four Seasons Hotel and enjoying great beats by DJ Adam of ADM Entertainment.

GBK Brand Bar has been giving to charities since 2002 and has given away more than $10 million in products and services. This year was no different. GBK Brand Bar founder Gavin Keilly partnered with animal rescue organizations including Angel City Pit Bulls and Paws for Life K9 Rescue. The Collective Identity Mentoring, a grassroots mentoring program for black girls and gender-expansive youth partnered with the event as well.
