1.2.23: Using a drone, the IDF killed senior Hamas leader Saleh al-Arouri and a number of aides as they were meeting with Hezbollah officials in Beirut, Lebanon. This on Tuesday evening local time.

Saleh al-Arouri was a senior leader of Hamas, says Wikipedia, dubbed the architect of the October 7 massacre, and a founding commander of its military wing, the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades.
He was also said to be the deputy chairman of Hamas's political bureau, and Hamas's military commander of the West Bank, although he lived in Lebanon at the time of his death. He had been in the US list of terrorists since 2015.
