Marjorie Taylor Greene Requests Formal Investigation Into Wednesday's Left Wing "Insurrection" At the Capitol

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene has requested a formal investigation into about 300 protestors who took control of the Capitol building's main rotunda room on Wednesday. The protestors, some Jewish, were protesting the Israeli response to Hamas' incursion from Gaza into Israel.

I am formally requesting that the United States Capitol Police preserve all video surveillance footage, photographic evidence, police reports, and arrest records from all House Office Buildings on October 18, 2023.

"There is currently an actual pro-HAMAS insurrection inside the US Capitol in DC where pro-terror rioters are disrupting official proceedings by attacking Israel's right to defend itself. When is @FBI going to raid their homes and send them to jail for 22 years on charges of seditious conspiracy?" tweeted conservative commentator Laura Loomer.

"HAPPENING NOW: Hundreds of American Jews are holding a sit-in at Congress - and we won't leave until Congress calls for a ceasefire in Gaza. As thousands of U.S. Jews protest outside, over 350 are inside, including two dozen rabbis, holding prayerful resistance" tweeted Jewish Vote for Peace.

The October 7th action by 3000 members of Hamas' Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigade resulted in the deaths of some 1400 Israeli's, and the capture of about 200 people as hostages by Hamas. Other terrorist organizations, such as Islamic Jihad, also participated in the raid.

Islamic Jihad launched a rocket that fell onto the Al Ahli Baptist Hospital Tuesday night. World media initially blamed Israel for the loss of life at the hospital, and there were anti-Israel rallies in major Arab capitols.
