Murder Victim in Stabbing at Santa Monica Beach Bathroom Was a 27 Year Old Homeless man

A suspect is in custody after a stabbing at the public bathrooms on the beach. The victim was said to be a 26 year old homeless man. He died the next morning at the hospital. Authorities have not yet released the name of the victim or the perpetrator, who will likely be charged with murder. Police did not know the relationship of the two men.

Street People of Beverly Hills posted it to their Instagram account. Half a dozen Santa Monica police officers were seen on video posted to social media, cuffing a suspect. Blood on the pavement in front of the bathrooms told a violent story.

The assault occurred West of 2610 Barnard way, beyond the West end of Ocean Park Blvd, late Tuesday afternoon 7.31.23.
