Naked Woman Walks Down California Interstate, Fires Pistol at Traffic Near Bay Bridge Toll Plaza

7/25/23: In San Francisco, they call it Tuesday. An unidentified naked woman shot at cars near the Bay Bridge toll plaza Tuesday afternoon, according to Video posted to Twitter. "More lawlessness and danger in the San Francisco Bay Area. Instagram user sent me the video," posted Asian Crime Report.

Other users speculated that she must have been high on meth. As she leveled the pistol at cars, drivers pulled over. It's uncertain whether she was arrested or anyone was injured. SF Gate reported the incident Tuesday evening:

"Eastbound traffic on the Bay Bridge was backed up after a naked woman got out of her vehicle and began firing a gun into the air on Tuesday afternoon, according to KPIX-TV. California Highway Patrol took the woman into custody, according to multiple reports. A video posted on social media apparently showed a person exiting a vehicle stopped in the middle of Interstate 80 near the toll plaza.CHP shut down all lanes briefly as officers conducted an investigation. All lanes are now open, but motorists should expect delays."

The incident occurred near the Port of Oakland, a major container ship facility located in the San Francisco Bay. It was the first major port on the Pacific Coast of the United States to build terminals for container ships. As of 2011 it was the fifth busiest container port in the United States, behind Long Beach, Los Angeles, Newark, and Savannah.
