Santa Monica Youth, 19, Found Dead on Freeway Embankment After Car Accident

Joshua Bodor, 19, has been found deceased on a freeway embankment. He was a graduate of John Adams Middle School and santa monica high school. His family announced his death on GoFundMe website. In an email to us, Joshua's father said that he died in an automobile accident.

"Joshua, a 19-year-old resident of Santa Monica, California, was found in a freeway embankment on April 20, 2023. Joshua was a kind-hearted and ambitious young man, with a promising future ahead of him. Joshua had recently been studying towards his acceptance into the Department of Water and Power, where he was excited to start his career and make a positive impact on his community."

"He had a strong work ethic and a dedication to learning that made him stand out among his peers. Joshua was also a loving brother to his 4 siblings and a devoted partner to his girlfriend Aracely. He cherished his family and worked hard to provide for the ones around him . His sudden and unexpected death has left his family devastated and struggling to cope with their loss.
