Gas and Power Cut to Some Ocean Park Residents Due to a Downed tree During Powerful Rainstorm

2.25.23: Natural gas and electrical power will remain shut off for most of Saturday, in the area of the 2400 block of Ashland Ave in Ocean Park. This problem is due to a downed tree that ruptured gas lines and brought down power lines.

Southern California Gas Company had no estimate for the completion of repairs.
