Brush Fire Over the McClure Tunnel Said to have been caused by an Arsonist

2.23.23: A fire above the McClure Tunnel Thursday was said to have been set by an arsonist. One suspect of interest is in Santa Monica Police custody.

The fire which occurred at 7 am, affected the brush alongside the tunnel and was said to have briefly closed the connector between the !0 Interstate and PCH.

"On my way to work today, and there was a raging fire over the McClure Tunnel. The overpass. Because of the hanging overgrowth burning embers were falling. I would have filmed but i had to time driving under @ approx 7:15". Donna Marie posted on Next Door.
