Traffic Collision at 14th Street and Santa Monica Blvd Tuesday Night; One Person Critically injured.

On January 10, 2023 at approximately 12:30 am, SMFD and SMPD responded to the 1400 block of Santa Monica Blvd for a traffic accident with a person stuck in the vehicle.

It appears that a vehicle traveling eastbound on Santa Monica Blvd. struck a parked box truck that had two occupants in it.

One person had to be extricated and three individuals were transported to a local hospital, with one being listed as critical.
