The majority of ballots in Los Angeles County were sent in by mail
Caroline Torosis was top vote-getter for a seat on the City Council, so far, with a little over a thousand votes more than her nearest challenger.
Laurie Lieberman, longtime member of the SMMUSD School Board appears to have kept her seat although she only has about 700 more votes than her nearest challenger but about 4000 votes over the 5th best vote-getter who will not be on the Board
November 9, 2022 - The Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder released election results as of 3:35 am this morning. Results will be updated on Friday November 11. Some of the local results may change as only a few hundred votes separate some candidates and measures. Numbers in parentheses are raw votes for the candidate or measure.
