"I have information that will lead to the arrest of Hillary Clinton." Shinzo Abe on July 7th. Purportedly.
Rumor has it that before he was shot dead by an unlikely assassin, a shocking surprise; that former Japanese PM Shinzo Abe made the mistake of tweeting about Hillary Clinton. The main stream media are all telling us the tweet is not true. And anytime the MSM tell us to ignore the man behind that curtain, we get suspicious. Because this is 2022.
Shinzo Abe, 67, was the conservative Prime Minister of Japan for 10 years between 2006 and 2020. He left the job in 2008 due to ulcertaive Colitis, but ran for and was elected PM again in 2013, and then left it again the second time due to health reasons. He was shot down while campaiginign in Japan on July 7th. Here's a quote from the AP:
CLAIM: A screenshot shows that Shinzo Abe, the former prime minister of Japan who was assassinated on Friday, tweeted: "I have information that will lead to the arrest of Hillary Clinton." The AP calls this tweet "fabricated."
AP'S ASSESSMENT: False. Abe did not tweet this statement, which is a reference to a long-running internet meme. A screenshot purporting to show the tweet has been fabricated. Abe's verified Twitter account uses a different username and profile picture than the ones shown in the altered image. The Japanese text in the altered image does not mention Clinton, either. https://apnews.com/article/Fact-Check-Fake-Shinzo-Abe-Tweet-499806264509?utm_source=Twitter&utm_medium=APFactCheck&utm_campaign=SocialFlow
