Family owned businesses find innovative ways to survive during a worldwide pandemic. Another in a series
Rustic Canyon Restaurant on Wilshire and 11th Street reminds everyone that their new winter menu is available online. Donan Whelan has been the manager at Rustic Canyon for 4 years. We asked him what’s new about this menu.
"We pivoted to more take-out friendly menu. We changed to Southern Comfort food, really hearty sides, blackened cod, there’s a red eye gravy with Brisket. So it’s got a real Southern food feel to it."
"2020 has been a bit of a struggle, as it has for everyone else. But we're happy to still serve the community with good food at affordable prices," says Whelan.
""Our entire menu will be available starting Friday for take out. We're doing a pop-up menu. We're really excited about it," says Lindsey. When we came by, she was standing on a table taking photos of the items.
"We're cooking up super comforting, simple Southern food, all made with seasonal ingredients from our favorite local farmers. We're smoking, grilling, fermenting and adding in a solid dose of love, with generous portions, to boot!"
"Everything's available exclusively for curbside pickup, takeout and delivery," Says http://www.RusticCanyonRestaurant.com
"Everyone's safety is our number #1 priority, so check out our Customer Health and Safety Guide to plan your visit. We're also proud to be GTHR SAFE, joining a community of businesses and organizations that have committed to a health & safety gold standard."
