After Surgery for Heart Attack, Kim Jong Eun is Brain Dead According to Reports

Kim Jong-un underwent heart surgery earlier this month and is recovering at his private villa

CNN reports that US Intelligence is investigating reports Kim, who has ruled North Korea for ten years since his father's death, is fighting for his life after coronary surgery.

MSNBC's Katy Tur just tweeted then deleted, that North Korean Leader Kim Jong Un is brain dead following open heart surgery. He has not been seen in public in weeks, which was presumed to be about germaphobia and Coronavirus annoyance.

Katy Tur is a reporter for MSNBC. In the interests of disclosure, I used to babysit her. Like, 30 years ago. And her parents were at my wedding. She would never tweet something she did not believe was true.

MSNBC says they are waiting to confirm the story. Kim Jong-un underwent heart surgery earlier this month and is recovering at his private villa, according to a South Korean report, with US media citing officials as saying the North Korean leader was in "grave danger" after the procedure.

If accurate, the surgery claim, made by the Daily NK website, would explain Kim's absence from an event to mark the anniversary of the birth of his grandfather – and the country's founder – Kim Il-sung.

Kim Jong-un underwent the procedure at a hospital in the county of Hyangsan on the country's east coast on 12 April, according to the Daily NK, which is run mostly by North Korean defectors.

A spokesman for South Korean Intelligence said on Tuesday that his agency doubted Kim was seriously ill. The DPRK's Military appears to be deployed in normal tactical formation, rather than at high mobilization as one would expect if the Dear Leader had just died, the spokesman told reporters.

Some believe he was brain-dead before the heart surgery...

It would be nice if the reporter understood that in Korean the family name comes first followed by the given name. So if he wants to refer to the N. Korean leader he should say Kim not Un. Honestly, this kind of cultural ignorance is pretty indefensible. It would be like referring to our president as John as in Trump, Donald John.
