Selena Gomez Meets Hung Vanggo at The 6th Hollywood Beauty Awards

The 6th Annual Hollywood Beauty Awards (HBAs), founded by Michele Elyzabeth, honored the architects of beauty on Thursday February 6, 2020 at The Taglyan Center, 1201 N. Vine Street Hollywood.

The Hollywood Beauty Awards distinguishes and recognizes talent in hair, makeup, photography and styling for Film, TV, Music, the red carpet, editorial and more.

The black tie dinner gala, benefitted Helen Woodward Animal Center, who had their corresPAWndent, Bark Ruffalo in attendance and available for adoption. 2019 Hairstyling Winner and the 2020 HBA Ambassador, Chris Appleton opened and closed the show.

Actress Leslie Mann presented the "Outstanding Achievement in Makeup" to Nicki Ledermann, who worked with Mann on "The Other Woman" and more recently designed makeup for "The Irishman" and "Joker."

Beautiful Selena Gomez was very friendly on the Red Carpet and was there to support makeup nominee, Hung Vanngo who won The Nicki Ledermann Makeup Award and her hairstylist, Marissa Marino who took home The Gloria Pasqua Casny Hairstyling Award. Also there to support was Normani for nominee, César DeLeön Ramirêz who won The Stacey Morris Hairstyling Award.

The Outstanding Achievement in Makeup was presented by ICE CUBE to Debra Denson who worked on all of his films from "The Barbershop" franchise to "Straight Outta Compton."

The Jany Temime Styling Award was accepted by Kelly Clarkson for stylist, Candice Lambert who was the winner of the evening.

Tichina Arnold and Anthony Anderson presented Outstanding Achievement in Hairstyling to barber extraordinaire, Stacey Morris. Nicolas Bijan (House of Bijan) and Megan Pormer presented to "Judy" costume designer, Jany Temime for Outstanding Achievement in Design & Styling.

Rick Baker presented. Davis Factor, Smashbox founder and great-grandson of Max Factor presented The Breakthrough Award to Danielle Lauder, actress and the great-granddaughter of Estée Lauder, for her limited-edition makeup collection with Estée Lauder: Act IV. Grey Damon & Danielle Savre of ABC's "Station 19" presented Fragrance of the Year to MUGLER for Angel. Danyelle Boilard-Paul, Executive Vice-President/ General Manager for Groupe Clarins USA accepted.

Metta World Peace (NBA Champion) presented The Gentleman's Award to the legendary Larry King and Lisa Stanley (K-EARTH 101)

Larry King was gracious in giving his speech at his dinner table and chatting with all the media or anyone who wanted to greet him Larry's dialogue was first proceeded by one of his funny jokes. He proudly introduced his handsome son Chance Armstrong King to everyone

Stephen Nichols presented the charming and beautiful Morgan Fairchild with The Timeless Beauty Award

Renowned surgeon, Dr. Rady Rahban received The Beauty Enhancement Award.

Grammy-nominated duo Yarbrough & Peoples (Alisa Peoples & Cavin Yarbrough) presented Outstanding Achievement in Photography to Bobby Holland, who photographed the likes of Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder and more. Other presenters throughout the evening included previous HBA recipients and their star clients: Larry Sims with actress Kiki Layne, Carola Gonzalez with Adria Arjona of the upcoming "Morbius" film and former Photography winner, Jeff Kravitz.
