DORIS BERGMAN'S 12th ANNUAL VALENTINE ROMANCE OSCAR® STYLE LOUNGE & PARTY ROCKS HOLLYWOOD

For the most awaited award seasons of the year, the Oscar Awards, Doris Bergman was once again the sponsor for the highly anticipated 2020 Pre-Awards gift suite. This year the premiere Media company set out to treat the stars to an array of exciting and cutting edge brands and products.

Doris Bergman Suites, a leader in celebrity gifting was founded by Doris Bergman, whose vision was to show her genuine appreciation to well deserved TV and Film artists who have inspired and uplifted audiences through their work by gifting them with some of America's most exciting products.

The Santa Monica Observer is honored to attend all the various gifting events for the Academy awards every year. All these events are just fabulous, but I must admit, this year there was a stand out. This was the Doris Bergman Annual Valentine and Oscar Style lounge and party held at the newly remodeled French restaurant Fig and Olive in West Hollywood on the 8th of February.

This highly anticipated invitation-only event, hosted by BeautyStat Cosmetics and presented by Buywine.com & Precious Vodka had several Oscar winners, nominees, presenters and celebrities attend this highly anticipated event featuring cutting edge beauty and lifestyle products, fabulous handbags and accessories, delectable wines from Napa, gourmet French cuisine and delicious desserts.

Some of these who attended were Oscar Nominee Bruce Dern ("Once Upon A Time in Hollywood"), Sean Carrigan ("Ford vs. Ferrari")  joined Anthony Anderson, Christopher McDonald Bill Duke, Judd Nelson, Mark Rolston, Vincent Spano, Dee Walllace, John Brotherton,  Diedre Hall, Donovan Carter, Khandi Alexander, Lou Ferrigno, Maria Conchita Alonso, Rebecca Metz, Shari Belafonte, Sofia Milos, Stacey Dash, Tichina Arnold, Mark Rolston, Titus Makin,  Blanca Blanco,Tristan Rogers, Kheng Hua Tan, Patrika Darbo, Michael Campion, Petri Byrd, Norman Nixon, Renee Lawless, Kim Estes, Lotte Verbeek, to name a few, were among the cadre of celebrities and industry VIPS who were treated to the best of the best!

One of the event sponsors of the suite this year was Buywine.com. Title sponsor Buywine.com, a wine education brand was showcasing some incredible wine from Napa and Sonoma wine country. Their latest product was a delicious sparkling Rose, a favourite with guests alike. Bulgarian Vodka brand, Precious Vodka was showcasing their award winning Vodka, encased in a signature diamond shape bottle.

Celebrity Hair stylist, Shann Christen was unveiling his famous BioMethod Hair Care and guests received a gift pack with BioMethod hair products as well as a visit to his new Hair Color bar at his salon in Westwood.

The ever stylish Timmy Woods was there with her signature collection of handbags on honor of the award season and was gifting the guests bracelets or rings they could accessorize with thier Oscar gowns. Twisted Silver, another popular brand that has been at the lounge before has thier unique silver jewelry on display gifting guests with a beautiful pieces that could be worn as either a bracelet or a necklace. Another lounge favourite was there with her brand Sue Wong Couture was showcasing their Oscar Gowns gifting guests with a sample of her latest frangrance.

Fig and Olive restaurant also provided a delicious brunch buffet for the guests to enjoy in thier gorgeous sunlit restaurant, enjoyed by a glass of delicious wine courtesy of Buywine.com.

The most unique part of the suite was the awareness and fundraising being done on behalf of an amazing organization called Wednesday's child. "Wednesday's Child is a adoption recruitment program that focuses on finding forever families for children in foster care. Guests and brands generously donated money as well as unwrapped gifts to this great cause. A well deserved cause indeed; there are over 35,000 children in LA who are under the social services system. KTTV and Fox 11 Anchor Christine Devine who hosts a weekly segment called Wednesday's Child was also present at the event.
