Photo LA Opening Night to "Benefit VENICE Arts " on Thursday January 30, 2020

Photo LA 2020 took place at the historic Barker Hanger ,3021 Airport Ave, Santa Monica on Thursday January 30, 2020 6-9 pm honoring Anthony Hernandez & Benefiting VENICE Arts

Photographer Anthony Hernandez is best known for capturing his native Los Angeles in works ranging from street photography to Urban decay.

He was honored for his contributions to the legacy, perspective and aesthetics of photography.

Public hours for the show was Friday January 31 (11am- 8pm) , Saturday , February 1 (11am-8pm) and closing day Sunday , February 2 (11am-5pm)

The longest-running international photography fair on the West Coast, Photo LA has hosted over 700 galleries, private dealers, and publishers for over 30 years since 1992

A synergetic platform that links dealers and collectors with vast spectrum of galleries from around the globe, the fair brings the best of the photography world to its visitors.

Photo LA 2020 received a new home in the historic Barker Hangar this year

The fair displayed photography from more than 65 local and international galleries and dealers, but also included collectives, leading not-for-profits, art schools, and global booksellers and one of a kind photo exhibits

This fabulous Photo show included renowned lectures, panel discussions, extraordinary installations, and docent tours.

Claudia James Bartlett, Director and Owner of Photo LA announced that "Photo LA has made a name for itself as a source for exploring the most avant-garde contemporary photography side by side significant and rare historical images."
