Rising Star Local singer Lola Rice wows at Wildlife Research Center star studded gala.

Local singer and rising star 18 year old Lola Rice performed at the 4th Annual Safari Night at the Wildlife Research Center this past weekend and the talented singer/songwriter was met with huge applause at the celebrity filled green carpet affair.

Animal Planet host and People Magazine's World's Sexiest Vet Dr. Evan Antin co-hosted with Emmy winning news anchor Christine DeVine.

Over $76,000 was raised at the sold out Gala, which will be used to sustain the center and help improvements for the alligator and porcupine enclosures.

The 2019 honorees were June Irene Chiltern Healey Foundation and Alison Eastwood of the Eastwood Ranch Foundation.
