9/17, LA: The 70th annual EMMY awards were held this year on September 17, 2018 at the Microsoft theatre in DTLA and were enjoyed by all.
It's Tinsle-town's favorite time of the year and undoubtedly one of the most exciting things to look forward to are the gifting events. Once again the Bergman's Style Lounge and party was the premiere EMMY gifting event hosted at the wonderful WeHo based French restaurant FIG AND OLIVE. As every year, nominees, presenters and music celebrities were presented with fabulous gifts in honor of their nominations and participation for this year's incredible event.
Doris Bergman, the founder of the Bergman Style Lounge has been independently producing these exclusive events for the past 9 years and this year has managed to raise the bar even higher. A great gift has nothing to do with the price tag but rather quality and elegance and this style suite is a great example of that.
This year's gifts presented by the title sponsors such as Emporium Thai, Porto Vino, Precious Vodka, Mobile White and Green Horizon. These brands along with others showcased a stunning selection of fashion for Him and Her, couture jewelry, exquisite timepieces, luxurious luggage, gifts for the pooch and the best in hair and beauty technology.
Celebrities were in attendance in abundance such as Kelly Jenrette ("The Handmaid's Tale"), Lee Garlington ("Broken"), Miles Tagtmeyer ("Broken"), Melvin Jackson, Jr. ("This Eddie Murphy Role is Mine, Not Yours"), Sam Sokolov (Executive Producer "Genius: Picasso"), Patrika Darbo (Best Actress "Acting Dead" 2016, Kelsey Scott and Khandi Alexander, Lou Ferrigno ("The Hulk"), Michael Irby ("Mayans M.C."), Michael Campion ("Fuller House"), Gleb Savchenko ("Dancing With The Stars"), Diego Tinoco ("On My Block"), Joely Fisher, Khandi Alexander, John Brotherton ("Fuller House"), Matt Cedeno ("Power"), Lisa Vidal ("Being Mary Jane"), Michele Weaver ("Love Is") among others.
One of the highlights of the evening was sampling of the finest quality wine and champagne from wine education brand, Buywine.com. Keeping true to their motto. "Quench your thirst for knowledge", they provide a free wine academy online which boasts a wealth of information to the aspiring connoisseur.

No Bergman suite is complete without giving back and this year's Emmy style suite saw guests & sponsors donating unwrapped gifts for young adults for a Pre-Holiday Gift Drive benefitting 'Wednesday's Child' (http://www.foxla.com/wednesdays-child). 'Wednesday's Child' highlights 'harder to place' children in the LA County foster care system that are in need of adoptive families". A social issue that is current and warrants some much needed awareness.
We have no doubt the guests thoroughly enjoyed their Emmy Style Lounge experience this year, they certainly deserve it and we look forward to the next fabulous Style Lounge Bergman suites will present.
