Intersection has no barriers when a train comes through
4/19/18: Three people were hospitalized early Thursday morning after their vehicle was struck by a Metro Expo Line Train at Lincoln Blvd and Colorado, the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department said.
An SUV collided with the Expo Line train in the intersection, said Sgt. Frederico of the LA County Sheriff's Dept. That intersection does not have armatures separating traffic from the train.
The vehicle's occupants were rescued and taken to a nearby hospital. At least one train passenger was evaluated for unknown injuries at the scene.
None of the injuries were serious enough to be life-threatening.
