"Celebrities want what's new and exciting – they want something different!" So what was on offer this year?
DPA hosted their fabulous DPA Talent Lounge in Beverly Hills at the LUXE Hotel on Rodeo drive in honor of the Golden Globe Awards 2018.
Los Angeles, CA. January 3rd, 2018- Out with 2017 and in with 2018! This New Year celebration begins with ringing in the 2018 awards season. For the most prestigious award seasons, the Oscar Awards, DPA was once again a benchmark for hosting the 2018 Pre-Awards Gifting Suite. This year the premiere Media company DPA set out to honor nominees, presenters and celebrities to a great selection of exciting and cutting edge brands, this year also with an international focus.
DPA, a leader in celebrity gifting was founded by Nathalie Dubois- Sissoko, whose vision was to show her genuine appreciation to well deserved TV and Film artists who have inspired and uplifted audiences through their work by gifting them with some of America's most exciting products.
So what was on offer this year?
Among the many exciting brands present this year, was Austrian brand, Appletinis. The first of its kind to use dried organic apple pieces coated with dark chocolate and other flavors. This brand is all the rage in Austria and Europe and they are now launching in the US.
One Beauty brand that is always a hit at gifting lounges is the Premiere Swiss company PIOTAZ. PIOTAZ is an innovative Swiss company that has been providing high –end luxury beauty products with Swiss precision and Hollywood flair. Based in Zurich, it has become known internationally for the results that it can produce. The brand showcased their latest line, Pollution defense, a more natural line with Autophacell Complex.
Other beauty brands include KOSME+IKOS, Essence of argan, Soap and Sun, Madrid based brand The Lab Room, Love my Pulse, IDROTHERAPY, Three Sisters Apothecary to name a few.
Fashion designers present were Tom boy with its cutting edge unisex underwear and apparel. Another unique brand present was Woodulisten, a cutting edge brand that produces Wooden wireless mini speakers featuring True Wireless Stereo (TWS) technology.
A unique brand present was jewelry designer Lisa Young Lee that is cutting edge and uses semi- precious stones in its creations. It has an array of healing gemstones, which have a luxury feel to them and come complete with the description of the healing properties specific to the gems.
Tahitian pearl brand Turia was also present showcasing and gifting guests with gorgeous pearl jewelry pieces. These are carefully handcrafted and have cutting- edge designs that carry beautiful rare pearls straight from Tahiti.
Also present was Histreet, a high-end jewelry brand with its gorgeous collection of pieces perfect for the red carpet.
Guests could also take home a copy of "Crystal Bliss- Attract Love, Feed your Spirit and Manifest your Dreams by author Devi Brown.
A highlight of the event was cutting edge Japanese brand, Gaura. Gaura which is based out of Tokyo, Japan is leading the way in providing the highest quality of water in the world. It uses Hydrogen Therapy, which removes chlorine in tap while retaining valid minerals. Hydrogen is all the craze in Japan and beyond and Gaura manufactures water servers for both home as well as business use and tabletop mini generators. Their latest product is the Portable Hydrogen water bottle, the Gaura walk which you can take with you anywhere and have access to the highest quality water.
Guests enjoyed some smooth tunes while enjoying delicious delicacies and drinks. provided by SPLASH mixers and Vodka, LIQS Cocktail shots, Unify water, High Brew Coffee, the Barber's Brew Company, Suja. For savory and sweet treats, they enjoyed freshly made burgers from Bareburger, Nori rolls from KYE organic food, organic ice creams from Viva Pops and mouth- watering desserts from Chef Turok with "The best damn Cheesecake you will ever try!"
The Founder Nathalie stresses that attributes her success to having access to unique and global exotic products and services at her Gifting events. "Celebrities want what's new and exciting – they want something different! Different is what they get at the DPA suites, as Nathalie originally from France, handpick products from all corners of the globe. She also wants the DPA suite to act as a platform for entrepreneurs and small businesses in the country that are looking for a great opportunity to get their products in the hands of image makers and social influencers within the entertainment industry. This is what makes DPA stand out amongst the very many gifting suites that happen during award season in Los Angeles which seem to be focused only leveraging the PR potential of the celebrities.
But keeping with the founder's Nathalie's vision, it was not all glamour as the 2018 gift suite has aligned itself this year with a few important humanitarian causes. Love Light Compassion Foundation is an international Humanitarian organization that works to bring Love, light and compassion to those affected by a health related crises providing emergency assistance during medical treatment and healing. They have a range of compassion jewelry with a beautiful mission.
The DPA Pre- Awards Golden Globes Gift Suite was a big success again and sure to be enjoyed by all who attended.
