Doris Bergman Annual Valentine and Oscar Style lounge and party Rocks Fig & Olive

The Santa Monica Observer is honored to attend all the various gifting events for the academy awards every year. All these events are just fabulous, but I must admit, this year there was a stand out. This would be the Doris Bergman Annual Valentine and Oscar Style lounge and party held at the French restaurant Fig and olive in West Hollywood on Thursday the 23rd of February. Boy was this event luxurious and fun!

Several Oscar winners, nominees, presenters and celebrities were invited to this highly anticipated event featuring cutting edge beauty and lifestyle products, fabulous handbags and accessories, delectable wines from Napa, gourmet French cuisine and delicious desserts.

So our viewers often wonder, what so these luxurious Oscar gifting bags actually contain? Well we are here to take you on a sensorial journey into the Doris Bergman gifting bag experience. Here are the contents of the gift bag and the various brands that were present at the fabulous event.

One of the Major sponsers of the suite, Dr. Perricone provided Gift Boxes (containing Cold Plasma, Cold Plasma Eye, Cold Plasma Sun-D, The Essential Multivitamin, Super Greens and H2 Elemental Energy.)  VIP Gift Bags that were given to the guest as they explored the suite were also provided by Dr. Perricone.

The Bahamas Ministry of Tourism graciously showcased their beautiful islands and invited guests to check out some of the top resorts in the Bahamas.

Vida Emanuel European Day Spa in Beverly hills gifted Guests with their signature European spa services and beautiful skin care travel kits by beauty brand Isdinceutics, USA. One of the most unique gifts was the Photo Tee-Shirts company who were providing guests with a personalized t- shirt with thier picture actually embossed on a white tee, it just looked fabulous and unique! Title sponsor Buywine.com, a wine education brand was present and were showcasing some incredible wine from Napa and Sonoma wine country. True Love Skin Care were displaying their natural, effective skin care facial scrubs and masks that guests could take with them.

The Footmate System by Gordon Brush had their touchstone product the footbruch present, guests were able to take home this incredible foot massager and cleanser. Rejuvenation in Motion Mobile Med-Spa were also present. The ever stylish Timmy Woods was there with her signature collection of handbags on honor of the award season and was gifting the guests bracelets or rings they could accessorize with their Oscar gowns. Twisted Silver has their unique silver jewelry on display gifting guests with a beautiful pieces that could be worn as either a bracelet or a necklace. Sassy Locks Custom Baby Clothing provided guests with cute baby clothes and bibs.

On of the highlights of the event was the presence of The Coffee Chef himself, , designing the smoothest coffee drinks on the planet. Guests could choose from hot, straight up black expressos or smooth iced coffees infused with cardamom and pistachio cream. These were so addictive I had to spoil myself with 2 of them! Samiah Hinton was present with her one of a kind Designer jackets inspired by poraesa and gypsies. She was providing guests with a gorgeous embroidered hand satchel. FIBRUM Virtual Reality were showcasing their cool, fun gamer units that were a lot of fun. Sue Wong Couture was showcasing their Oscar Gowns & latest Fragrance gifting guests with handcrafted beaded handbags, clothng wear company Single Dress had a collection of wonderful outfits and guests could have their pick of the crop, Kaya Di Koko, Single Underwear For Men, Swedish Beverage company Rekorderling was spoiling the guest with their latest addition; Rekorderlig Cider, Also Present was Hillel, a worls renowned Glass artist who was creating customized glass hearts for each of the guests.

Also on display were Handmade Hearts, an art piece By Hillel. Hint Water provided healthy water infused with delicious flavours, Art Lewin Bespoke Suits & Tuxedos were showcasing their bespoke tuxedos for the men present at the suite. Spa Girl Vodka was gifting a bottle of decadent vodka either cucumber or pear, M & R Photo Gallery, Pura D'or Hair Care were there with their cutting edge hair care products as were Spongelle with thier signature body loofah unfused with oils and body cleansers. The guest could indulge in healthy cup cakes courtesy of Zozo Bean Bakery and last but not least quench their thirst with Zenful Water, the most mindful water brand on the market.

Fig and olive restaurant also provided a delicious lunch buffet for the guest enjoyed in their gorgeous sunlit restaurant, enjoyed by a glass of delicious wine courtesy of buywine.com and topped off with a iced coffee designed by the Coffee chef himself.

The most unique part of the suite was the awareness and fundraising being done on behalf of an amazing organization called Wednesday's child, which supports the LA County foster care system. Guests and brands generously donated money as well as unwrapped gifts to this great cause. A well deserved cause indeed; there are over 35,000 children in LA who are under the social services system. The sweetest touch was when event organizer Doris Bergman invited 2 children to the suite to be treated like VIP's. This was just adorable and touching to experience.
