Bush 41 Says He'll Vote for the Wife of Bill Clinton, Who Ousted Him from the White House

Meanwhile, Trump Jr. counts Skittles, and Jeb Bush appears on Jimmy Kimmel live as an Uber driver

In a storm that threaten to take down Twitter Tim, Donald Trump Jr compared Syrian refugees to poisonous skittles. That's right, the candy. You can't make this stuff up. But wait, there's more.

The meme, sent by Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump's son, used poorly punctuated language to say, "If I had a bowl of skittles and I told you just three would kill you. [sic] Would you take a handful? That's our Syrian refugee problem."

In a related story concerning relatives of presidential candidates, George HW Bush (that's former president 41), said that he will vote for Hillary Clinton for president. This is perhaps not too surprising, given the extent to which Republican Nominee Donald Trump insulted Bush's son, Jeb Bush, labeling him "low-energy."

This means, as Politico points out, that a Kennedy outed a Bush who's voting for a Clinton! http://www.politico.com/story/2016/09/exclusive-george-hw-bush-to-vote-for-hillary-228395

Bush, 92, had intended to stay silent on the White House race between Clinton and Donald Trump, a sign in and of itself of his distaste for the GOP nominee. But his preference for the wife of his own successor, President Bill Clinton, nonetheless became known to a wider audience thanks to Kathleen Hartington Kennedy Townsend, the former Maryland lieutenant governor and daughter of the late Robert F. Kennedy.

On Monday, Townsend posted a picture on her Facebook page shaking hands next to the former president and this caption: "The President told me he’s voting for Hillary!!”

In yet another moment of presidential campaign silliness, Jeb Bush appeared on Jimmy Kimmel live.

Emmys 2016: Jeb Bush gets raves for star turn as Uber driver in Kimmel skit

LOS ANGELES – That Jimmy Kimmel used much of his opening skit and monologue at the Emmys Sunday night to blast Donald Trump was not surprising, but his enlisting of Trump's former foe Jeb Bush sure was.

At the beginning of the show, Kimmel was in a limo that was driven by the vanquished GOP presidential candidate.

“Did you know you can make $12/hour driving for Uber?” Bush asked.

“If you run a positive campaign, the voters will ultimately make the right choice,” Bush said. “Jimmy, that was a joke, and shave that wig off your face you godless Hollywood hippie.”

Bush then drove off with a bumper sticker on the back that read, ‘Jeb! 2020," and later tweeted in character during the show.

Hey, @jimmykimmel, I'm giving you 5 stars! How about a little something,

you know, for the effort, you know? https://twitter.com/GMA/status/777663930172776448
