The OVFF is a nonprofit community event dedicated to screening full-length, short and animated films that embody the spirit, energy and diversity of Venice
Filmmakers from the area and abroad - including Australia, England and Germany - descended on Venice for three days of film screenings, premieres, sell out crowds, spirited Q&A sessions, panel discussions, local art on display and parties with live music and Dj's.
The Thirteenth season of events starts at 6:pm with Opening Night red carpet,cocktail party ,art show feature film "The Head Thieves"directed by Mike Hermosa Cast : Mikey Gooch, Dante Basco, Dion Basco & Daniel Baldwin
Art show by Paul Gromer ,live performance by Stone & Screening indoor theatre & outdoor screening in Beer Garden sponsored by Venice Duck Beer.

Bihar, the northern state of India is home to a folk dance called Launda Naach. This is an art form where men dress up as women and dance to entertain at social functions and festivals.
This tradition of men performing as women is very old, as women were prohibited from public dancing.. Over the years this folk art has lost its sheen and has become a lowly and degrading line of work.
The Laundas are cut off from society and are looked down upon, they live and socialise only amongst themselves. They are often not given any jobs and therefore are forced to live in poverty

Thorough Hiking the Appalachian

Trail Generally hiked in approx six months, this couple took a year and 23 days thru all 4 seasons including winter to hike the 2,160 mile Appalachian Trail, the film was initially edited in Venice Ca at the LAFCO Powerhouse.
