Anthony Weiner In The News Again, This Time For, Well, His Weiner

"This time it's just pathetic," tweets one woman. Another leaves Weiner. Her name: Huma Abedin

He is a former congressman and the husband of Huma Abedin, right-hand woman to Obama Heir-presumptive Hillary Clinton. He is smart, good looking, 51 year old male and the father of a toddler. And he cannot keep himself from chasing women online.

World media note: this time Anthony Weiner has apparently deleted his Twitter account. Oh, the humanity!

The move comes after The NY Post reported Weiner had sexted a busty brunette - even sending along a picture of his toddler son in a lurid crotch shot. Yes, it would appear that he can't get laid in a cathouse with a fistful of 50s. But then again, neither can I.

Wiener apparently she had a particular woman numerous lurid texts and photos over the last 19 months. After a year and a half, she decided to out the married man.

"Sorry, that page doesn't exist!" Weiner's Twitter page reads. OMFG, guys what are we going to do for copy now? Or is it really news, that when the schmuck stands up, the brain jumps out the window? My 85-year-old grandmother told me that 30 years ago. But it sounds better in Yiddish. It means that when a man becomes aroused he does not think clearly.

Weiner resigned from Congress in June 2011 after accidentally sharing another lurid crotch shot on Twitter. His New York City mayoral campaign imploded two years later when more online sexual shenanigans almost sank his wife's rising political career as well.

Personally I don't blame a guy for trying to get laid, even a married one. But if you repeat the same mistakes over and over again well, shame on you.

Weiner is a former U.S. representative who served New York's 9th congressional district from January 1999 until June 2011. A member of the Democratic Party, he won seven terms, never receiving less than 59% of the vote. Weiner resigned from Congress in June 2011 due to a sexting scandal.

He was a member of the New York City Council from 1992 to 1998, and a congressional aide to then–U.S. Representative Chuck Schumer from 1985 to 1991. A New York City native, he attended public schools and graduated from the SUNY Plattsburgh in 1985 with a B.A. in political science. He was an unsuccessful candidate for Mayor of New York City in the 2005 and 2013 New York City mayoral elections.

Sexting Scandal

On May 27, 2011, Weiner sent a link to a sexually explicit photograph of himself via his public Twitter account to an adult woman who was following him on Twitter.

After several days of denying he had posted the image, Weiner held a press conference at which he admitted he had "exchanged messages and photos of an explicit nature with about six women over the last three years". He apologized for his earlier denials.

But an explicit photo was leaked through the Twitter account of a listener of the The Opie & Anthony Show, Weiner announced on June 16, 2011, that he would resign from Congress, and he formally did so on June 21.

In the special election held on September 13, 2011, to replace him, Republican businessman Bob Turner defeated Democrat David Weprin to fill Weiner's seat.

A second scandal began on July 23, 2013, several months after Weiner returned to politics in the New York City mayoral race.[63] Explicit photos were sent by him under the alias "Carlos Danger" to a 22-year-old woman with whom Weiner had contact as late as April 2013, more than a year after he had left Congress.[63] The 22-year-old woman was later revealed as Sydney Leathers, an Indiana native who first came into contact with him by expressing her disapproval of his extramarital behaviors.[64]

On August 28, 2016, the New York Post reported that Weiner had sexted another woman, including sending one picture while lying in bed with his young son.
