Jet Fighter crash lands on Runway 25. No one injured, but runways tied up all day

A military jet made a hard landing just before noon, blocking runways 10 and 25, for more than five hours. The pilot was not injured, and neither was anyone on the ground.
Other passengers were rerouted into LAX, then bussed into Long Beach airport. Delays ranged from 2 to five hours. The black military jet was the size of a fighter, and the malfunction involved it's landing gear.
The air force is sending repair crews from Edwards Air Force Base.
Long Beach Airport (LGB) is a city-owned public airport three miles northeast of downtown Long Beach, in Los Angeles County, California. It was formerly called Daugherty Field.
This airport is included in the National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2011–2015, which categorized it as a primary commercial service airport. Federal Aviation Administration records say the airport had 1,413,251 passenger boardings in calendar year 2008, 1,401,903 in 2009 and 1,451,404 in 2010.
