DIY darling HOW2GIRL Courtney Sixx proudly gives first time sneak peak to her stunning studio which she created, designed and literally built on the grounds of her home which she shares with rock legend Nikki Sixx formerly of iconic Motley Crue and now on tour with his new chart topping rock band, Sixx:a.m.

When not modelling for major magazines, busy raising funds for the cancer charity http://www.brightpink.org or walking red carpets at leading Hollywood A list events, Courtney truly is a hands DIY expert, rolling up her sleeves and taking on new exciting DIY projects as she sets out to show women via her blog, radio and video tutorials how to get fabulous looks on a budget anyone can afford.

"I have always worked extremely hard over the past few years creating a lifestyle brand, blog and radio show featuring everything "Do It Yourself" for the girl on the go and on a realistic budget. Women everywhere are learning step by step how to get the look they want without breaking the bank. I have always been encouraged to work hard since I was very young, and to be honest, I love hard work, positive results and also the inspirational feedback I get from my followers when I share a helpful tip with them."

Unlike most celebrities, what sets Courtney apart is that she really is the real deal (pun intended). She can be found on any given days browsing shelves for deals to share and creating home made remedies and teaching her fans how they can treat themselves, feel good about themselves and not have to spend a small fortune.

"It is about taking the time, doing the research and being smart. The cost of living is very expensive so I really am all about the budget!" She adds. "I realize people look at my life and think I have it all, the rock star husband and so forth, but I truly work hard and my husband Nikki is my number one supporter. For that I am blessed and cannot ask for more."

Courtney frequently recommends brands such as Target, Michael's Arts and Crafts, Forever 21 and Top Shop as her favorite stores.
