Naked Woman Tries to Run Over Her Parents

Strips naked after police chase through Los Angeles

It was nightmarish, but also dreamlike, as a 32 year old female first tried to run over her parents. Failing that, the lady left in her SUV and led multiple law enforcement agencies from Pasadena, to Thousand Oaks and Downtown Los Angeles. When she got out of the vehicle and began, Police decided they had had enough. They arrested and booked her.

The female suspect – whose identity has still not been released – was booked on several charges, including assault with a deadly weapon for allegedly trying to hit her parents with her SUV, felony evading and reckless driving, according to Pasadena police Lt. Vasken Gourdikian.

A possible domestic dispute sparked the chase around 10:30 p.m. Friday in the 1300 block of Linda Vista Avenue, Gourdikian said.

Five freeways later she got out of the car and took off all her clothes. Police say the woman appeared to be mentally unstable. She was booked for driving a stolen vehicle and evading police.

"We got a 911 call from the parents after their daughter tried to run them over," Gourdikian said. "Officers then responded to the scene and that's when the pursuit began."

The female driver was seen weaving through traffic as she guided her SUV onto the westbound Ventura (134) Freeway. She then headed north on the Ventura (101) Freeway into Agoura Hills, Woodland Hills and then into Thousand Oaks.

She also drove her SUV Eastbound on the 118 Freeway into Simi Valley at speeds sometimes reaching 100 miles per hour, police said.

Pasadena police and the CHP both pursued, and made a U-turn heading back east through the San Fernando Valley, into Pasadena and finally down into Los Angeles.

The chase took a bizarre turn when the woman parked the SUV near the corner of Main and Third streets in downtown L.A., exited her vehicle and began walking down the street.

In a crazed rant captured on camera, she told a freelance photographer covering the pursuit that she wasn't running from anything and that she was, among other things, a "trained policeman".

"Ran from what? Ran where, sir? I am a trained policeman. Who are you? You are a legal slave trader, I am with the police, everywhere," the woman told one photographer. "I am with the police, I am trained to arrest you as a police man. I am not with fireman...sir, you respect the alias.

"I didn't run from anywhere, I don't know what you're talking about," she added.

After unsuccessfully attempting to enter a bar, she stripped off her clothes on the street before being detained by LAPD.

She was then handed over to Pasadena officers who transported her back to Pasadena for booking, according to Gourdikian.

"There appears to be some sort of mental imbalance involved with her,"he said. "But that will have to be sorted out after she is booked on the charges."

No injuries occurred during the pursuit.
