Marat Daukayev Ballet Theatre Presents Its 14th Annual Production of The Nutcracker

Crossroads student Anna Yeh will be dancing the starring role of the Sugar Plum Fairy for the first time in Marat Daukayev Ballet Theatre's NUTCRACKER, which will take place at the Luckman Theatre at Cal State LA Dec 6 - 14. Anna will be dancing the role in the 4:30 pm performance on Sunday Dec 7.

Anna has competed competitions both U.S. and Japan since 2011. She was awarded TOP 12 in Pas de deux at Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP)for 2014, and has been awarded TOP 12 all local YAGP she competed from 2011. She was selected NY finalist for 2 years (2012~2014). She has also been awarded at many competitions such as :

-Bronze Medal at the World Ballet competition 2014,

-3rd Place International Ballet Concours in Tokyo,

-5th place Japan Grand Prix 2013,

-Professional Award and Japan Arts Award at Yokosuka International Ballet Competition 2013

Anna has received scholarships from Pittsburgh Ballet, Tulsa ballet, Accademia Internazionale Coreutica in Italy, and also was invited to Vaganova ballet academy short term study program in St.Pertersburg of Russia. Last year she was invited the Youth Ballet Gala Japan.

She will be dancing other smaller roles and with the corps de ballet in the other six performances.
