Santa Monica Public is pleased to present An Evening with Andrea Martin on Monday, October 20, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. in the Main Library's Martin Luther King, Jr. Auditorium, 601 Santa Monica Blvd.
Two-time Tony Award-winning actress Andrea Martin has been entertaining audiences for decades. From her show business debut playing a chicken on the Captain Kangaroo show in the 1970s, to her Emmy-winning run writing and performing on the 1980s sketch comedy show SCTV, and her Broadway stage successes in musical comedy smashes like My Favorite Year, Candide and Pippin, Ms. Martin has filled audiences hearts with joy for generations. Now, as she visits Los Angeles for a brief run in the touring company of Pippin, she takes time out to visit the Santa Monica Public Library to discuss her hilarious new book, Andrea Martin's Lady Parts, with acclaimed author Sam Wasson (Fosse; Fifth Avenue, 5 AM). Her appearance at Santa Monica Public Library will be her only book tour stop in the Los Angeles area, so don't miss it! A book sale and signing follows.
