Building Bridges Art Exchange Presents “Feminine Mystique” and “Treasures of the 21st Century” Opening Reception September 6th at 6pm with exhibit open September 6, 2014 – October 7, 2014. “Feminine Mystique” is a groundbreaking, multi-disciplinary showcase of the magic, beauty and power of Women, and the ethereal, shifting ideal that can never be fully grasped. “Feminine Mystique.” The words by themselves conjure up images of beauty and wonder and have been perfectly captured in the paintings of Barbara Fritsche, the multi-media creations of Michael Kluch, the sculptures of Tanya Ragir and the costumes & photography of Mary Cheung. “Treasures From the 21st Century” features master-sculptor Larry Schuster, whose museum quality works reflect a rare and magnificent vision. This vision transports us to a time and place of grandeur and transcendence, a place beloved by kings and empire builders.

Cinderella: The Musical
August 22 - Setember 12 Friday, 6:30 PM
After a sell-out engagement in 2013, Cinderella is back for four performances only, featuring Actors’ Repertory Theatre members Celeste Akiki And Sarai Jimenez as the very silly stepsisters, Graham Silbert as the zealously well-meaning Stepmother Arabella, Nima Ghassemian essaying the double role of Kerwin, the King’s shy Valet and handsome Prince Asgood, with special guest appearances by Joseph Perez as lovingly befuddled King Isgood and Rebecca Coombs (a former stepsister) as a refreshingly independent Cinderella. Added delights are the outrageously playful period costumes by award-winning designer Ashley Hayes, the singing and dancing woodland creatures crafted by The Attic Room and the heart-warming romance that blooms with the assistance of a glass slipper, a magic wand, and the audience’s eager intervention. Photo ops and birthday and Tea Parties, hosted by a favorite fairy tale character from the show, are available in conjunction with every performance.
