The Guys in Blue Celebrate National Ice Cream Day July 20th by Surprising SoCal ResidentsWith Frozen Treats Saturday, July 19th (Santa Monica) 2pm-5pm - Surprise public locations
In 1984, President Ronald Reagan designated July as National Ice Cream Month, recognizing ice cream as a fun and nutritious food that is enjoyed by 90 percent of the nation's population.* Since nothing beats a cool, refreshing ice cream treat on a hot summer day, the SoCal Honda Dealers are dispatching their Helpful Honda Free Ice Cream truck filled with a colorful assortment of *free* frozen treats for everyone!
The Helpful Guys in Blue in their iconic blue shirts will be stopping at various community activities, parks, sporting events, and concerts starting the weekend of National Ice Cream Day, Sunday, July 20th, surprising unsuspecting kids of all ages with free ice cream.
It's their job to be Helpful. Lending a hand in the community and giving back to loyal drivers is just another way the SoCal Honda Dealers are continuing their commitment to Helpful, now in its 8th year.
This summer, the Guys in Blue have: handed out water on hot afternoons; helped residents load groceries; picked up litter at parks, beaches and shopping plazas; paid for car washes and valet parking over Father's Day Weekend; surprised moms with complimentary movie tickets on Mother's Day; and given thrill-seekers complimentary parking at Magic Mountain, and Dodgers fans upgraded seats and tickets to upcoming games!
