Samohi Students Help Others with College Counseling

"We found out that a lot of parents pay $2000 for a personal college counselor," says Samohi teacher Claudia Bautista Nicolas. "So my kids decided to do it for free for everyone! They wrote a pamphlet on how to be successful in college, in English and Spanish. They also created a video. Sample advice? If you're taking 4 APs and you get C's, there's no point in taking those classes. So it's really about how much you can handle. There's a college for everybody," says one of her students.
