Officers from the Los Angeles Police Department found the missing child at the MTA bus station in downtown Los Angeles last night. There was no foul play. She was released to an adult family member.
Earlier story: The Santa Monica Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating a missing person. Her name is Laila Kaddoura and she is 17 years old. She is 5'-4" and weighs 130 pounds. Laila has brown eyes and brown, shoulder length hair. She was last seen wearing a black, hooded sweatshirt, dark gray jeans, gray or green tennis shoes, and carrying a black backpack. She has been diagnosed with Asperger syndrome and suffers from anxiety and depression and is listed as a "critical" missing person because of those conditions, along with her age.
Laila was last seen around 1 p.m. on April 22, 2014 at her residence in Santa Monica. She is believed to be a run-away at this point.
