Los Angeles Boat Show

The Los Angeles Boat Show took place in Marina Del Rey and the Los Angles Convention Center February 6-9. Organizers were happy with the event as they say the boating industry in on the rebound and say they saw a 5 per cent increase in sales in 2013 and expect the growing trend to continue this year. They say there were about 13,000 visitors at the show altogether this year. About 2,000 visitors came to the Westside to check out the 40 sail- and powerboats at the in water boat exhibits in Marina Del Rey. The Los Angeles Convention Center held about 160 boats.
