Cirque du Soleil on Promenade

To thank the Santa Monica community for their incredible support through the years, Cirque du Soleil held a public event today in which performers from TOTEM entertained the public on Third Street Promenade. Internationally based Red Bull-affiliated BMX athletes and breakdancers joined the TOTEM performers for the event – which was a special celebration that brought Cirque du Soleil back where it originated from nearly 30 years ago: the street. TOTEM is the latest Cirque du Soleil big top production to visit the Los Angeles area and is currently performing at theSanta Monica Pier through March 16.
